UPV

The UPV Textiel Foundation supports producers and importers of clothing and home textiles with their individual UPV obligations. We do this by collectively organizing the collection, reuse and recycling of discarded textiles on behalf of the participating companies. This requires good cooperation in the chain. With a strong support base and chain partners, we are working together on the transition to a circular textile chain. By joining forces, we can make the sector more sustainable.

A small contribution to circularity

Linnenatwork is a member of the UPV textile foundation. The UPV Textiel Foundation was founded in 2022 on the initiative of Modint and INretail. The producer organization works for the entire sector, both members and non-members. In previous sectors, this appears to be the best way to keep the EPR efficient and affordable. Together with chain partners, we further develop the existing infrastructure into an efficient collection and processing system to achieve the reuse and recycling goals. That is why we ask for a minimum contribution per textile weight in order to contribute to circular textiles.
